10. Comments: Army ROTC at the University of Florida was a blast!  The ROTC program is by far the most rewarding and enjoyable avenue to earn your Commission in the United States Army.  The leadership training is by far superior to any other professional development program at the collegiate level.  The program is truly what you make of it, but you’ll only get out what you’re willing to put in!  You can invest the time and effort NOW to master your Warrior Skills as a Cadet, making your transition to a new Second Lieutenant much less painful.  Your future leadership will acknowledge your effort and dedication to your profession; you will gain the trust and admiration of your future Soldiers.  Learn these key lessons early on, because your mistakes as a Leader should NEVER come at the price of a Soldier’s life.  Trust me – it’s time well spent even if you don’t intend to make the military a career.
